BURGESS
HILL LIBRARY
- Have you looked inside a library recently? You might be
surprised! Libraries are free to join and provide a free information and
enquiry service and free access to the internet (there are 230 Internet
PC’s in West Sussex Libraries). Everyone living, working or being
educated in West Sussex is entitled to use any of our 35 libraries or
mobile libraries. You don’t have to join the library to be able to pop
in and have a look, use the internet, study space, just sit and read the
books, newspapers and magazines. You can ask us to find information for
you, it doesn’t have to be about school or college work, and we will do
our best to answer any enquiry on any subject. Some libraries have
designated teenage areas with comfy seating but you are welcome to use all
sections. If you want to borrow books, tapes, CD’s or videos then you do
need to join, this is simple and free. Remember you will need to bring
proof of your address. Once you have joined you can borrow and return
books at any West Sussex Library. Why not visit your local Library and see
what they can offer you?
