West
Sussex Careers have set up a drop-in facility at Park Centre Youth Club to
help unemployed 16 & 17 year olds to access employment, training or
education, opportunities.
West
Sussex Youth Service is supporting this new service by offering help over
the drop-in session and use of their computers, TV and kitchen facilities.
This
drop-in session is held over the lunch time period in an informal setting.
Soft drinks and a snack are available, as is the opportunity to have a
game of pool or two!
An
experienced Personal Adviser from VT Careers Management West Sussex
is on hand to answer any queries relating to:

Education
- the range of courses available at the many surrounding colleges.

Training
- either Modern Apprenticeships or company in-house training.

Employment
- including vacancies that are placed with Careers Centres and
local newspapers such as the Evening Argus and the Mid Sussex Times.

Advice
on CV writing, Interview
techniques and preparation plus
videos on how to present yourself at an interview.
No
appointment is needed -
just drop-in!

2.15pm – 4.00pm on a Thursday.
