 SUSSEX
SUPREMES TWIRLERS - individual and team baton twirling, dance with
batons and pompoms, marching and other gymnastic moves (sessions divided
according to ability). Our main activity is training for 3-4 annual
competitions with the International Baton Twirling Association, plus
exams, displays, etc. The group are the International Baton Twirling
Association overall national champions for 2002, 2003, 2005, and recently
2007.
Their
most advanced twirler, Jemma Godsmark aged 24 has recently returned from
the World Baton Twirling Association 2006 Championships where she was a
member of the England Team who were placed 5th out of 19 world level
teams.
