VOLLEYBALL CLUB
We
have 3 teams Men’s 1 in Division One (promoted at the end of last
season), Men’s 2 in Division Three, and a Ladies team (there’s only
one Ladies division). Divisions are
in the Sussex League. The
second men’s team is a new entry this season and will probably be a
mixed team, therefore the ladies can also play in this, although it is a
men’s division. It is hoped
that this team will give new players a chance to experience league
volleyball. We
stay indoors until mid-May and then restart mid-August, playing outdoors
during the summer months (to practise for outdoor tournaments, get a tan
and to save money!). A
number of tournaments are held throughout the year, mostly outdoor ones
during the summer months, which involve weekends away camping on site at
the volleyball venue. There
may also be some indoor tournaments, or friendly matches, arranged during
the season.

will be additional training sessions.)

club subscription: £240 (payable by monthly standing order of £20)

(For
a short time, while you decide whether you would like to join, we are
happy to accept cash Session Fees of £5 (or £2.50).
Please note that this is per session, not per week.
But we do then ask that you set up a standing order, as this makes
the task of subscription collection and tracking a lot less strenuous, and
also means we are better able to predict our budget for hall hire, kit and
equipment.)
