Sports CarYOUNG DRIVERS' SKILLS COURSE

This innovative and life saving one day training course is run by West Sussex County Council in conjunction with 'Minerva Accord Training Services' and 'Skid Control'.  Aimed at young people who either live or drive regularly in West Sussex, it has been set up in order to help reduce the number of casualties on the road.  Every year, over 1000 17-25 year olds are killed in a car accident in West Sussex alone.

There are four elements to the course, which are run by Advanced Driving Instructors.   These include on-road practical assessment, on-road practical tuition, training in skid control and practical parking tuition - making difficult parking a lot easier.  There is also the chance to drive a Ferrari -  to be taken after the course is completed.  This provides the opportunity to drive 3 laps of the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit in one of the fastest cars in the world -  with a professional driver in the passenger seat.
