SUSSEX
COUNTY SPORTS PARTNERSHIP
Volunteering
is an ideal way to get involved in sports that you're really interested
in, whether it's coaching, umpiring, administration or just going along to
help or to have fun. There are so many reasons why you should volunteer.
These are just a few:
-
You
get to meet new people that are interested in the same sport as you.
-
You
gain experience, confidence and new skills that employers value, such
as working as part of a team, learning to solve problems and
developing initiative.
-
You
may find it counts a lot to have a Volunteer role on your CV when you
apply for college, university or a job.
-
Volunteering
may help you keep fit and active whilst keeping you engaged in your
children or family hobbies.
-
It's
also a great way to get that important hands-on experience in your
sport in the real-world.
-
What's
more, there is now a volunteer reward scheme which is open to all
sports volunteers in sussex. Click on the logo below for more
information on this scheme.
Some
clubs would like you to help for about an hour or two a week, others may
require up to a whole day. We aim to find a volunteering opportunity for
you that will fit in with your existing time commitments.
Give us a call on 01273 643838 and chat to Jo Irving , so we can find out
more about your skills and interests to help match you to the right club.
